To get to the candy of course.
And let me tell ya, this chicken LOVED trick-or-treating. He was bound and determined to keep up with the big kids and not miss a single house.
Here's another peek at the kids' Halloween costumes, just cause I think they are so cute!
Madi the little kitty
Jaxon the hardcore ninja
Colton the cutest chicken ever!
All three of my awesome kids together. I guess Colton is being a ninja chicken in this picture. Maybe he's a ninja-chicken-robot?
Trick-or-treating rocked this year. We saw lots and lots of friends from our neighborhood. It was kind of like a party.
Baby Parker the tiger, who looks like he is Jaxon's brother
Madi's bff, Brooklyn, from Kindergarten went with us for a while
We also walked with our awesome neighbors from across the street. Tyler and Jaxon are in preschool together, which makes carpool AMAZING!
Their dad stayed home and put on a little pyro display.
We went and visited our neighbors that live behind us; who also help us with our kids every Sunday at chuch; who also made the best donuts ever; who also are just plain awesome!
Then we hooked up with Madi's friend Lizzy from 1st grade and went to trick-or-treat at her teacher's house, cause her teacher lives the next street over from us. How awesome is that?!
By the end of the night the kids were exhausted, but they had so much fun!
They weren't too tired to sort their candy though!
Yes, Halloween will continue to be one of my favorite holidays. Low on stress. High on fun!!
