Mega update- part 2

We got back from Utah on a Monday.  Friday we went camping.  Cause, ya know, I love doing laundry, and laundry from the vacation wan't enough :)

Camping is always a blast, though, and I love being outside.  We did a little skeet shooting.  

Colton tried his hand with the BB gun.

Madi caught her first fish!

Ethan and Jaxon were connected at the hip the whole time!

and Chris and Colton did a little fishing, too.

Tuesday night we had our annual Halloween night of "booing."  This is the kids FAVORITE activity each year.  First we cut out the cookies.

Of course we get covered in flour.

Then we frost/eat the cookies.  This picture cracks me up.  Hello gothic Colton.

Madi did a great job frosting and sprinkling on her own.

The kitchen was absolutely destroyed by the time we were done.

But it was worth it.  The cookies turned out pretty great. 

Then we put them on cute pumpkin plates.

And went out to "ring and run".  Such a fun night with the kids!!

Finally I've been really enjoying some time with my little side-kick lately.  He's pretty stubborn and kind of bossy, but so much fun!  His favorite thing to play is cars.  We spent a good 45 minutes the other day parking our cars in the parking lot and then moving them around.

And he LOVES to go have lunch with Madi at school.  Although I don't know that we will be going again soon.  He's such a distraction to the kids and it always turns into me telling everyone to leave him alone and go eat.
