To celebrate the 24th of July this year we had a little pioneer Family Home Evening.
First the kids made pioneer butter....
.... mostly Uncle Garrett made pioneer butter!
And we made tin can ice cream and peach cobbler in the dutch oven! (We just put the dutch oven in the actual oven, though, it was WAY to hot to light a campfire outside)
Madison, Uncle Seth and Jaxon dressed up like pioneers for the night. Poor Madison had strep throat for the second time in 2 months, so she looks pretty bad. Jaxon's just weird and making crazy faces :)
